Priday tube agate ~
Offered here is an extraordinary cabochon of Priday moss/tube agate, from the famous Priday Ranch digs in Oregon. These grand old thundereggs are thrilling to cut, because one never knows what surprises they hold within. I love the bluish hues in this example, the water level lines, and the greenish tendrils and tubes (orbs) encased by haloes of black agate. Nice contrasting burnt orange matrix down one side. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of nearly 6mm, a plump designer teardrop shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
