king cobra jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon cut from king cobra jasper, from India. This extraordinary material arrived a few years ago now with deliciously bright tropical hues, quite unlike the cobra jasper I'd seen before, which is drab by comparison. The new stuff is light years more exciting. This example has mottled pink, coral, and mango, with maroon threads and lacy fortified webs of burnt orange & gold. The grayish pools are composed of a quartz blend, adding interest. Try a cab of this delightful jasper, I'm sure you'll be pleased! The stone has a nicely rounded dome of nearly 6mm, a graceful designer 'flame' shape, and a fabulous glassy polish both front and back.
