Turquoise cab ~
Offered here is a large cabochon of top notch spiderweb turquoise, from China. This one has absolutely GORGEOUS spiderwebbing, and excellent contrast. The bright sky blue coloration is accentuated by greenish edgings, set off by the jet black matrix forming the webs. No doubt this material has been stabilized by some hardening process, as is most modern turquoise, but I don't believe it has been subjected to artificial coloring of any kind. It polished like a dream, and will wear wonderfully, without changing over the years. The cab has a beautifully rounded dome of 6mm, a sweet designer 'teardrop' shape, and a smooth glossy polish both front and back.
