Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of old vintage ocean jasper, some of the very first found. This stone has a bit of translucence in the pinkish background, with contrasting green orbs, and a couple that are bullseyes. This variety kind of reminds me of the good old days when ocean jasper was more plentiful. It ought to look great in either silver or gold, so let your imagination soar! The stone has a nicely rounded dome of nearly 6mm, a gracefully curved designer 'flame' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
