Botswana agate cab ~
Offered here is a dramatic cabochon of Botswana agate, from Africa. Always a favorite around here, I was delighted to luck into a large cache of top notch slabs and nodules recently. This example has the strongly contrasting fortification bandings these agates are so prized for, and the rosy hues of the eye add to the appeal. This one will certainly 'speak' well in your jewelry creations, in even the simplest of settings. It's a keeper! The cab has a high rounded dome of 6.5mm, a gracefully curved designer shape, and it is polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
