Larimar cab ~
Offered here is a splendid cabochon of larimar, a rare blue variety of gem pectolite from the only known source in the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean. I wich I had purchased a LOT more rough when I had the chance, because the price has certainly climbed steadily over the years. This example has delicious sky blue coloration, extra gemmy, with some darker and more saturated spots, including several lovely patches of silky chatoyance. This stone has a generously high rounded dome of 7mm, a versatile teardrop shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
