imperial jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of colorful imperial jasper, fantastic old stock Mexican material the like of which hasn't been found in many years. If any does turn up in the marketplace, it typically commands quite a steep price. (In fact, just last year, I saw a small but fairly nice slice that sold for $80!) This example of porcelain jasper features pastel shades of light and dark green bands alternating with peachy pinks and peach, and a few lines of spiderwebbing as well. No doubt you'll be delighted and inspired when this one arrives! It has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, and a graceful designer shape that enhances the jasper nicely, brought to a brilliant polish both front and back.
