Offered here is a extraordinary collector's cabochon of top quality flowering tube onyx, from Utah. This unique material is simply stunning in its complex and varied patterns. This strikingly exotic example has a wild pattern that includes several ornate and flowery bullseyes and concentric bandings, with contrast to spare. The yellow, orange, gray and black hues of this type of onyx often remind me of Autumn, but this one has so much more going on, including some interesting vugs. Only the largest one of the pockets is open; the others are actually translucent pools, naturally sealed closed. It's absolutely awesome stuff! This outrageous cab is sure to attract attention in all four seasons. The stone has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, a sweet designer shape, and a smooth glossy polish both front and back.
