Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of ocean jasper cut by my son Christopher. This example shows a bit of
translucence in the green areas, with an array of orbs in various sizes, many containing beautifully ringed bullseyes. I particularly like the yellow chiffon areas here. As you can see, there is a healed fracture present in the largest orb, but despite that, I think it's one of the most attractive stones Christo has ever produced. The stone has a high rounded dome of 6.5mm, a graceful designer shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
