Luna agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of collectibly rare luna agate, from Mexico. This old favorite material is no longer easy to find like it was years ago, though there seems to be plenty of mediocre stuff around. This cab is an unusual but worthy example with a great display of the classic luna agate orbs and bullseyes, including some intricate fortifications. Some of the orbs floating in the translucent purple fluorite look just like round eggs without their shells. Neat! The stone has a low rounded dome of 5mm, and despite a small natural void at the edge of one side, it has a slick glassy polish both front and back.
