Mexican lace agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Mexican crazy lace agate. This intricate stone has a nice contrast in black (shadow), white, and smoky gray, with a hints of gold and tan at either side. It's an interesting combination, though I have to say the smaller photos really omit a lot of the detailed pattern the eye can see, due to the 1 pixel limitation of our monitors. It is full to the brim with oodles of small bullseyes, wild fortification banding, and flower-like bursts of sagenite surrounded by frilly lace. No doubt this one will be a winner in most any type of setting, from gold or silver to beads and leather, or anything else you might dream up. It has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, and a designer 'flame' shape, brought to a brilliant polish both front and back.
