Tabu Tabu jasper cab ~
Offered here is a striking cabochon of tabu tabu, also sometimes called 'smoke and embers' jasper, or forest fire jasper, from Africa. It has a brecciated pattern a lot like Stone Canyon jasper, only in bright crimson red and some patches of black, tan and peach, and this one also includes some unusual greens. Very much like the hot glowing embers of a fire. I can think of about a zillion uses for such a stand out stone, and know you'll have no difficulty setting it to great effect. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, a graceful designer shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
