Tigeriron cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Australian tigeriron. This unique stone was cut from hand picked material, selected especially for its patches of gleaming flash and red bands. This splendid example has an almost banded pattern of zones consisting of chatoyant golden tigereye, alternating with ribbons of dark silvery metallic hematite and red jasper. The contrast is quite eye catching. The cab has a crisp designer 'spear' shape, a high rounded dome of nearly 7mm, and it is beautifully polished both front and back.
