Ocean jasper cab suite ~
Offered here is a matching trio of ocean jasper cabochons, cut from some of the earliest material to show up from Madagascar. Sadly, I'm told the original source is played out, though I hope they continue searching for more. These unique cabs are of the more translucent variety, featuring a dramatically contrasting display of well-defined bullseye orbs against a lemony to lemon-lime background with streaks of peach, dusty rose, and maroon. The eyes themselves are quite ornate, with tiny hearts of yellow and orange surrounded by multiple rings of light and dark green. Each of these stones has a certain gemmy quality that's most appealing, and I'm sure you'll want to feature them prominently in your jewelry showcase. The large stone has a nicely rounded dome of nearly 5mm, a gracefully fluid designer shape, and a super slick glassy polish both front and back.
