Moss agate cab ~
Offered here is a lovely cab of old stock moss agate, not from India, as you'd expect, but from Oregon. The intricate tendrils and frills of the green moss itself are quite beautiful, but the camera didn't capture the subtle haloes around them too well. The backlit photo best reveals them a bit better. There are also several well-defined dendrites in this example, giving it a weirdly scenic flavor. It's quite a bit more intriguing in person, very unusual. I do need to mention some slight pitting in one small area of moss where it's light brown, though I doubt you'll find that overly distracting. The cab has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, a graceful designer shape, and a glassy polish both front and back.
