Polish flint ~
Offered here is a cabochon of banded flint, which hails from Poland. To call it banded is surely an understatement; this stuff is full on WOW! And this is actually one of the milder patterns, believe it or not. The wavy bands reminded me of the feathers of a wing when I drew out the stone. I like this stuff a lot, and its earthy tones are versatile enough to go with most anything, in any type of jewelry. Try a cab of this Polish flint, I'm sure you'll want more. This one has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a curvy designer shape that frames the pattern nicely, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
