Rhodochrosite cab ~
Offered here is a brilliant cabochon of rhodochrosite, from Argentina. The rough from which this stone was cut came out of
a (very) small parcel sold at this year's Tucson show, and it's far better than I could've hoped for. This remarkably gemmy
stone features glowing hot pink coloration that's simply delicious, as good as it gets! It also has some extra fancy wavy
banding, and a delightful degree of warm translucence. This substantial stone has a freeform designer shape with a high
rounded dome of 7mm, and it is polished to a lustrous brilliance both front and back.
