Willow creek jasper cab ~
Offered here is a remarkable cabochon of Willow Creek jasper, from Idaho. Affectionately dubbed the queen of jaspers, this material certainly deserves its reputation among the classic porcelain jaspers. It's a long time favorite in my studio, and has become particulary difficult to obtain in the top quality everyone most desires. This example has a palette that includes rosy pinks, creamy chiffon pastels tinged with gold and mauve, and dabs of brilliant yellow. Some areas of the stone have a bit of semi-translucence that add to its gemmy character... so if you like this enchanting beauty, be sure to grab it and make it yours! It has a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, a crisp designer shape, and a gleaming polish both front and back.
