Parcelas agate cab suite ~
Offered here is a matching 3 cab set of classic Parcelas agate, from the Cerro El Oregano area, Chihuahua, Mexico . This trio was cut from the heart of an old stock nodule, and the patterning is very typical of this material. These agate cabs feature oodles of razor-fine bands in subtle shades of bluish purple with cream and clear, showing some parallax. Many of the bands are composed of tiny dashes and dots, and as the last photo illustrates, there's translucence when backlit. Each stone in this trio has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
