Flame agate cab ~
Offered here is a unique cabochon of flame agate, from Mexico. This stone was cut from grand old stock material, none too easy to come by these days. It has an intriguing display of flame-like plumes in the appropriate crimson and orange hues, against a translucent background, including some lacy cream and black fortifications. There is a good sized sparkly crystalline pocket surrounded by pale bluish agate, adding much to the stone's character. Gorgeous! The cab has a designer 'flame' shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
