Botswana agate cab ~
Offered here is a totally WILD cabochon of Botswana agate, from Africa. As a youngster, I had a fantastic collection of
Botswana agate nodules, and every one was special in one way or another; sure wish I had them all now! This stone has an
outrageously bold and contrasting pattern, with chevron bands of snow white. The darker bands shade from brown to
lavender-gray, to mauve, and finally to beautifully blushing pinks, in both bright and pastel tones. This dramatic beauty is
sure to turn heads wherever it goes, in even the simplest of settings. It has a high rounded dome of 6.5mm, a crisp designer
shape that contains and enhances the pattern nicely, and it is polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
