Offered here is a cabochon of turquoise, from the venerable Kingman, Arizona. It features bright, electric turquoise-blue coloration, along with intricate webs of rich chocolaty matrix. The webbing shows greenish hues where it seems to blend into the turquoise. I must say, this stone is a great deal nicer than these photos depict, full of character and charm. Yes, this is stabilized material, as is most modern turquoise, but it contains no artificial coloring of any kind. It cut beautifully, and will stand up to every day wear without turning green over the years. The cab has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a versatile designer shape, and it is finished with a smooth glossy polish both front and back.
