Sonora Sunrise cab ~
Offered here is a matching set of three cabochons of Sonora Sunrise, a blend of chrysocolla and cuprite from Mexico. This fabulous new material has positively striking colors, all 100% natural, and these are outstanding examples. They are particularly colorful because they also include some lovely grass greens. Only the large stone has the blue, and a darker magenta red as well. It also has an unusual streak of a dark purplish hue lending it some extra fancy character, and some areas exhibit a subtly metallic sheen. If you want an eye catching suite of stones that will command attention, these brilliant Sonora Sunrise cabs are just the thing! I think you'll do great things with them! The large cab has a high rounded dome of 6.5mm, while the smaller pair are 4.5-5mm in thickness. Each has a crisp designer 'triangle' shape, and an excellent glossy polish both front and back.
