Kabambi Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a set of Madagascar's kabambi ocean jasper cabochons, a pretty sister to material from the original ocean jasper source just up the beach. These lovely examples are a sort of a rusty golden yellow to lime hue with shades of rich advocado and forest greens, overlaid with pastel yellow bullseyes and bands. They're actually fairly simple in pattern, yet very striking and distinguished, with a rather exotic flavor. The largest stone has a tiny triangular pocket at the side, visible in the first and second photos, which shouldn't interfere with setting. The large stone has a high rounded dome of 6mm, while the smaller pair are 5.5-6mm in thickness. Each has a triangular shape, and an excellent glossy polish both front and back.
