Kabambi ocean jasper cab suite ~
Offered here is a matching suite of three Madagascar's kabambi ocean jasper cabochons, a pretty sister material of the original ocean jasper, whose source is just up the beach. These lovely examples feature a rusty gold to lime hues, with shades of rich advocado and forest greens, overlaid with pastel yellow bullseyes and bands. They're actually fairly simple in pattern, yet very striking and distinguished, with a rather exotic flavor. The largest stone has a tiny triangular pocket at the side, visible in the first and second photos, which shouldn't interfere with setting. The large stone has a high rounded dome of 6mm, while the smaller pair are 5.5-6mm in thickness. Each has a triangular shape, and an excellent glossy polish both front and back.
