Imperial cab ~
Offered here is a matching set of three cabochons of imperial jasper, from Mexico. This classic old material is absolutely amazing stuff, a member of the fine grained porcelain jasper family I love so much. This suite of stones has a pattern of broad patches in delicate shades of pistachio green, alternating with an even lighter pastel that's almost ivory. The avocado is edged in darker green that shows subtle banding. Very appealing! The largest stone has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, while the smaller pair are 5mm in thickness. Each has a graceful designer shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
