Regency rose plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a colorfully gorgeous cabochon of regency rose plume agate, from the famous digs in eastern Oregon. This collectible stone was cut from some old stock I tucked away many years ago, and I must say it's quite a bit rosier than anything I've seen mined more recently. I love this old stuff! This beauty is brimming with ornate plumage in coral pinks, yellow, cream and white, suspended in nearly clear agate. The backlit photo illustrates the stone's lovely translucent nature, which can be clicked to enlarge, if you wish. This cab has a low rounded dome of 5mm, a smooth, ovoid shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
