Kabambi Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a busy cabochon of Madagascar's kabambi ocean jasper, a pretty sister to the original ocean jasper source just up the beach. This fabulously ornate example features beautiful bullseyes with multiple rings in several shades of bright mustard yellow, and greens from lime to rich advocado to deep forest greens. It reminds me of spring, with a decidedly exotic look. There is a small pocket at one end, and some nice fortification bands surrounding the orbed areas. The stone has a high rounded dome of about 4.5mm, a long designer 'teardrop' shape, and a great glossy polish both front and back.
