Offered here is a bold cabochon of top shelf tuxedo agate. This striking example shows outrageously contrasting bands of black and bright blue-white bands in a fascinating fortification pattern. I was surprised to find that the agate is translucent around the edges, with an appearance that's similar to smoky quartz. This gemmy beauty will be amazing in even the simplest of settings, no doubt. It has a low but nicely rounded dome of 4.5mm, a versatile designer shape, and a brilliant glassy polish both front and back.
