Tigereye cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of variegated tigereye, cut from Africa. This example exhibits better than average chatoyant brilliance, with multiple rows of shimmering flash alternating with black. The widest band is a blended greenish hue, and the thinner bands to the side are more clearly composed of midnight teal blue and golden yellow. Beautiful and unusual! The cab has a low but nicely rounded dome of 4mm, a crisp designer 'parallelogram' shape, and it is polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
