Crazy lace agate cab ~
Offered here is an outstanding cabochon of Mexican crazy lace agate. This ornate collector's treasure was cut from recently mined material every bit as nice as the grand old stuff. It has dramatic fortification banding with scallops and lacy sagenitic bursts, and a neat array of tiny bullseyes. The colors are an attractive mix of raspberry red, yellow, pink, white and cream, with patches of crimson and black at one side. It was surprising to find that the black areas exhibit a sub-metallic sheen. No doubt you'll be completely thrilled with this one! This substantial stone has a high rounded dome of 8mm, a crisp designer 'keystone' shape, and a glassy polish both front and back.
