Deschutes jasper cab ~
Offered here is a splendid cab of Deschutes jasper, from Oregon. This stone is a rare opalized example, making the usual browns and tans especially creamy and rich. Viewed with a bit of imagination, the pattern is remarkably scenic, resembling an angry volcanic caldera that almost appear to have been painted. Neat little jet black dendrites provide the foliage, lining what appears to be a road that only the brave would dare travel. -grin- The cab has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a versatile designer shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
