Agua Neuva agate cab ~
Offered here is a large deluxe cabochon of Agua Neuva agate, from Mexico. I often find that I favor this material even more than its long prized and famous cousin, Laguna agate, found nearby. This example features orange moss and tubes, with those still inside the agate showing a lovely pink hue. There are some nice fortifications too, some of which are composed of tiny white dots, all beautifully translucent. Near the center is a small open pocket lined with sparkly drusy crystal. The cab has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a designer 'gumdrop' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
