Tube agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of top quality tube agate. I saw this material at a gem show this year and couldn't resist bringing it home, though the seller did not know the location where it originated. But no matter, it's certainly gorgeous stuff, and needed no backing to provide contrast. It has an excellent showing of tube formations, with fortification banding around each. This cab has a nicely rounded dome of 5.5mm, and a versatile designer shape, with a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
