Owyhee picture jasper cab ~
Offered here is a distinguished cabochon of Owyhee jasper, a long recognized classic from Oregon. This well marked example has an artistic pattern of both earthy and vibrant hues. The colors include rich golden ochre, light and dark shades of muted blue, and the most prized dark red, in slashes running diagonally across the stone. The cab has a very high rounded dome of 7.5mm, a plump 'almond' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
