Marra mamba cab ~
Offered here is a striking cabochon of genuine Marra Mamba tigereye, a highly collectible rarity from Australia. This startling material is, in my opinion, the most awesome tigereye in the world, and this gem's a standout example. It features twin pools of dancing pearly chatoyance in beautiful deep teal blue with a hint of gold, as well as scallops of reddish orange, that roll and flash within the stone. At each side is a veritable rainbow of colorful jasper, green, red, gold and blends of all, which is the actual host rock. Then there are ribbons, patches and sprinkles of gleaming metallic hematite. YUM! This cab has a high rounded dome of 6+mm, a crisp designer shape that will be fun to work with, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
