Noreena cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of noreena jasper, a spectacular newcomer from the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The color and figure reminds me of mungina stone, which is rather soft, but this well silicated noreena jasper is harder, with an even wilder pattern. The dark reddish background is highlighted with bold strokes and circles of flaming yellow framing windows of mauve. Very eye catching, to say the least, I think it'll be extremely attractive in even the plainest of settings. Grab it and give it a try! This cab has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a designer 'catseye' shape, and it is polished both front and back.
