Offered here is an eye catching cabochon of Willow Creek jasper, from Idaho. Fondly dubbed the queen of jaspers, Willow Creek jasper is an outstanding porcelain-like material that has become increasingly hard to come by these days, particularly in the top quality everyone desires. This example has pleasing pattern of streaks in pastels of peach, in light and dark. My young son Chris claims there's a stylized scene of a distant mesa in this stone, if viewed with a bit of imagination. He's got plenty of that, for sure! This cab has low but nicely rounded dome of 5mm, a crisp designer shape, and a brilliant liquid polish both front and back.
