Stone Canyon agate ~
Offered here is a lovely cabochon of classic Stone Canyon jasper, from California. This is fine example of brecciated stone, which means the original olive green-ish jasper was once broken apart by violent earth movement, and then naturally re-cemented with contrasting yellow, charcoal and white agate. The lighter agate areas do show some degree of translucency. Beautiful! The cab has a rounded dome of 5mm, a crisp designer shape, and a smooth, even polish both front and back.
