Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is an unusual cabochon of ocean jasper, from Madagascar. Ocean jasper never fails to amaze me, with its endless variations! This unique cab seems to be all agate, stem to stern, well illustrated by the backlit photo. That gemmy translucent gel quality that adds a great dimension of depth, with its beautiful aqua green color. And check out the colorful tiny orbs at the bottom end, and the patch of red moss and fuchsia agate. Decidedly different from most. The stone has a nicely rounded dome of 6+mm, a gracefully fluid shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
