Offered here is a cab of Owyhee picture jasper, from Oregon. It has an appealing pattern in earthy colors, including rich tans, golden ochre, and several shades of an attractive greenish-blue slate. Viewed with an imaginative eye, it's rather scenic, in a definitely-out-of-the-ordinary sort of way... Like distant parachutes landing on San Francisco Bay, perhaps. The pillow shape of this stone frames the scene wonderfully, which should make an outstanding creation almost effortlessly! It has a rounded dome of 5.5mm, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
