Montana agate cab ~
Offered here is a unusual cabochon of Montana agate, cut from rough I 'found' last year in a Montana rockshop. heh It has only a few inky black dendrites, but its flat ribbon-like bands of brownish purple do seem to change the colors of the pale blue agate background, when viewed at different angles. It's beautifully translucent, almost opalescent, and if you look closely, you can see tiny round dots against the faces of the dark ribbons. It's a beauty, certainly, and I hope it inspires you to create something outstanding! The cab has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a designer 'flame' shape, and a brilliant 'wet ice' polish both front and back.
