Offered here is a distinguished cabochon of Owyhee jasper, a long recognized classic from Oregon. This well marked example has an artistic pattern of both earthy and vibrant hues, including rich golden ochre, blue, green, and the most prized dark red. I particularly like the black line accents, which appear to be composed of tiny dendrites seen on edge.
