Black Rock desert agate cab ~
Offered here is a designer cab of Black Rock Desert agate, from Nevada. Absolutely amazing stuff, and unless you go out and dig these thundereggs yourself, they're hard to come by, and you never know what you'll find inside. This unique stone was cut from the heart of a fine specimen, and has the distinctive pinkish red matrix shot through with pools of clear agate, in which float black agate cores with fortification bandings. The colors really work great together, and the stone is even more impressive in hand, despite a couple of negligible tiny voids, one on the backside and one on top. Typical of the material, easily forgiven. No doubt the lucky new owner will be quite pleased! This cab has a well rounded dome of 5mm, and a nice glassy polish both front and back.
