Noreena cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of noreena jasper, a spectacular newcomer from the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The color and figure reminds me of mungina stone, which is rather soft, but this well silicated noreena jasper is harder, with an even wilder pattern. The deep reddish orange frames muted pink 'windows', and it's highlighted with bold strokes of flaming yellow 'barbed wire'. Very eye catching, to say the least, I think it'll be extremely attractive in even the simplest of settings. Grab it and give it a try! Please note, there are some odd spidery lines present at one side, but I don't think they're fractures. This cab has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a crisp designer 'paisley' shape, and it is polished both front and back.
