Yellow opal cab ~
Here is a cabochon of gorgeous lemon yellow opal, cut from rare material found long ago near Napa, California. Even though there's no fire, I really hesitate to call it 'common opal', because it's truly anything BUT common. It features translucent lemon yellow coloration, with a misty pattern of swirls and dots that's quite intriguing. It'd be equally stunning set in gold or silver jewelry, no doubt, or it would make a fine addition to anyone's collection. This substantial stone has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, a sleek designer shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
