Sodalite cabs ~
Offered here is a matching trio of designer cabochons of unusual sodalite. They feature deep, rich royal blue, variegated with beige and rusty orange in an almost striped pattern. Ok, it's more streaky and mottled, I guess, but beautiful nonetheless, with some flecks of shiny metallic pyrite. The stones have nicely rounded domes proportionate to their size, polished both front and back. I should point out that one of the smaller cabs has a tiny inclusion of softer matrix that only took a semi-polish; no big deal, really.
