Here is a designer cabochon of Imperial jasper, from Mexico. This collectible porcelain material is becoming tough to come by lately, particularly the kind with the best figure and color. This one has a boldly striking pattern in pastel shades of creamy pink, mauve and brown, with both bands and streamers. The stone has a very high rounded dome, a gracefully strong shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
