Offered here is a premium cabochon of variegated tigereye, the super old stock hailing from Africa. This one has a surprising degree chatoyance, with strong rolling flash in various mixtures of gold, green and midnight blue. The gleam of it positively jumps right out at you as the stone is moved, brilliant bands lighting up while another dims. Eyecatching! The cab has a very high rounded dome, a pleasing designer 'pinwheel' shape, and a fine polish both front and back.
