Mexican lace agate cab ~
Offered here is an interesting cabochon of Mexican crazy lace agate. This classic old stock material is great fun to work with; you never know what marvelous patterns will be revealed by slicing the rough. This particular example has beautiful fortification banding that frames several bullseyes and tiny bursts of sagenite, very ornate and intriguing. I'd have to say it's nicer than these photos show. This stone has a high rounded dome of 7mm, a graceful designer shape that's very versatile, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
