Offered here is a cabochon of amethyst, from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. This material intrigues me not only with its splendid coloration, but for the attractive look of its many healed inclusions. Kind of crackly, like an icy purple snow cone, with some clearer gemmy areas too. If you love purples, this one has your name on it. -smile- The stone has well rounded dome of 5+mm, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
